React.js Developer

Job Overview

Virtusa Consulting Services is seeking experienced React.js Developers to join our Chennai team. As a React.js Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing UI components for complex web applications. You will work in an agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. This role is ideal for candidates with 2-4 years of experience who have a deep understanding of React ecosystem and best practices in frontend engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop user interfaces for modern rich internet applications with the latest front-end technologies.
• Perform product analysis and development tasks of increasingly complex nature which may require extensive research and analysis.
• Writing tested and documented JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Make design and technical decisions for AngularJS/React projects.
• Develop application code and unit test in the AngularJS, Rest Web Services and Java technologies for the Application Development Center.
• Ensuring high performance on mobile and desktop.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 2–4 years of strong experience in React.js development.
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and ES6+.
• Experience with state management libraries like Redux or Context API.
• Knowledge of modern frontend build pipelines and tools.
• Understanding of server-side proficiencies is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
